Meloro is the name of my company – it’s just me for now – but who knows in the future!

After spending 10 years in data governance, I started a role as a head of data and analytics – combining my experience with a new passion – data visualisation (note the British spelling, sorry!). I’ve been working with Power BI since early 2019 and it has been a “game changer” for me. I’ve watched an amazing community grow at my organisation – all helping one another grow and improve. I’ve seen them do amazing things with their data using Power BI. I wanted to share how this happened in case it helps others.

I started my career as a financial accountant with PwC and then shifted into Data and Analytics in 2007. I’ve worked in the telecoms, financial services and pharmaceutical industries.

I’m based in the UK and have two young children. I spend most of my free time with them and if they are ever asleep at the same time, I can be found strumming a guitar from time to time!
